Due to time constraints it is with somewhat regret that I write to inform you that "Trackside" will be discontinued, at least through the foreseeable future. However, part of the reason I have decided to discontinue the newsletter is that the website now has a growing, and very popular Facebook page which is where I now add all of the material once found in "Trackside" (i.e., news stories, preservation news, etc.). Since the material was essentially being listed twice I felt something had to go and with time of the essence these days, because it is much quicker to list it on the fan page at Facebook I decided to go that route and drop the newsletter.

On that note, if you have an account at Facebook and are interested please become a fan of the site's page there:

Even if you do not have an account, you can bookmark the page and read the news stories and other information posted there, I usually add new material every day.
